No Theme Logo
This logo was created as part of my pitch for the theme for one year's Creators Collective Gallery. This was a student-run initiative to show off student-made art at the University of Waterloo.
The idea of no theme was that the gallery shouldn't limit what art could be submitted by making it match a theme. We should let artists submit whatever they want and, in doing so, see what everyone thinks art is. The theme should not be the focus; it should fall into the background while presenting what the students have created.
I designed this logo to do just that, not be the focus and simply communicate to the viewers. Inspired by a pretty obvious Canadian brand, this logo does everything it can to only let people know the theme, the club running the event, and nothing else.
