The goal when creating this was to write out my “best story ever” and translate it into another medium. It didn’t have to be happy or the best thing that ever happened to me; it just had to be my best story. While this story is a little personal, it is weird, crazy, funny, and 99% true.

A big element of this story is where it takes place and the physical situation of the story. Based on this, I chose to make a booklet and lay out the story over graphics that mimic the objects around me throughout the story. While some are overly stylized, almost all of these are accurate and based on real objects and my surroundings.

This project was very experimental for me, and I chose to go a little funky. I wanted bright colours, overly stylized graphics, and to show objects that had real meaning to me.
